From my studio in Herefordshire, England I offer quality workmanship for the repair and restoration of clock dials on a worldwide basis, with every dial individually assessed and wherever possible the original patina retained.
A comprehensive service is provided covering all types of painted, brass and silvered clock dials, whether longcase/tallcase, mantel or wall.
Some modern and 20th Century clock and timepiece dials (sometimes referred to as clock face), are restored in addition to case and movement repairs,
all done in-house at our large workshop. Fired enamel dials are the only ones not undertaken, but I am happy to recommend someone for this service.
I am happy to offer advice and discuss horology, so please feel free to contact me.
The slideshow below gives some examples of my work as 'before and after' photographs, further examples can be seen on the page links further below.
The 'restoration process' explains in detail the methods and materials that I use.
